Telus World Festival at Whistler

As posted in the last article, the Grenade Games have descended on Whistler at the moment. But this is but one event happening there at the moment. In what is regarded as the defining celebration of Whistler, the Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival has been happening for the past week and is about to come to an end.

For those unfamiliar with Telus WSSF, here is a quick intro:

The defining celebration of Whistler, the TELUS World Ski and Snowboard Festival is a 10 day and night showcase of the latest progressions in the skiing and snowboarding world, where even the arts events are packed full of adrenaline. Combining Canada’s largest free outdoor concert series with career-making showdowns of action sports and lifestyle fashion, photography and film, the best spring snow conditions, and burn-the-candle nightlife, it’s a celebration of everything that’s core to mountain culture.

There has definitely been a lot going on and it’s in it’s last days. And if that wasnt enough, Whistler is currently in its second snowiest season in history, so even if your bored with the fest there is still a heap of white to ride. Those of you who are there, enjoy it. For the rest of us we’ll just watch on in envy.

Here are a few more pics for your enjoyment.
