So if you were lucky enough to be up at Buller over this weekend you would have no doubt caught the Burton Cattlemans Rail Jam that was happening in the Village centre on Saturday night. Thredbo Freeride Series – Back in 2011
Back for 2011, the Thredbo Freeride Series is kicking off next weekend with the Rails comp. Running 5 years strong now the series is definitely a standout for the season. It hosts 5 events across various disciplines and anyone can enter. Here is a quick write-up and check the site for full information:
Celebrating five years of sliding, high flying and breathtaking riding action, the Thredbo Freeride Series is back in 2011 with five big events that are sure to fire up the pro’s and ignite the up and coming talent this season..
With Charles Beckinsale and Sammy Towers at the helm, the park crew will create some great venues and features for the rails, freeride, ridercross and big air events. There is $50,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs, so there is plenty to get excited about. The Thredbo Freeride Series is for skiers, boarders, opens and juniors.
