Minimum 1 week away because it’ll take me a couple days to get my snow legs back (oh the pain of “real life” taking away my fun!). And in August.
Definitely need a crew of 5 people – has to be an odd number so that there’s none of this “couples” stuff, we’re here to ride and cheers beers.
Get a sick top level 3 bedroom apartment with views right across the ranges. I’m putting my order in now for huge levels of POW to fall right up until our first day of riding, and then once again overnight midweek to keep it fresh. Oh yes. I need my pow fix.
Hire a chef for breakfast cooking, I love waking up to the smell of coffee and bacon in the morning. Lunches are sorted on mountain with sandwiches, pies, chips & gravy (do it oldskool)… saving the fine dining for night time – I have a craving for duck lately, so that has to be on the menu – but not every night, we dont’ want to come across as wankers. And there’s nothing wrong with a pub meal, mate.
Couple slabs of beer and some bottles of bourbon should be waiting upon our arrival cuz we’re here to celebrate. Stock up the cupboards with muesli bars and snacks to shove in the jacket for riding, and don’t forget the Gatorade. We’re going to be suffering.
Wait, how are getting there? Beam me up, Scotty. Flights to the resort and private transfers to the door.
I’m pretty sure midweek we’re going to be peaking pretty hard, so a day off from boarding and let’s get out the snowmobiles. These are beasts and are my far my favourite thing to do on the snow. Go wild for the afternoon, ride up to the summit and watch the sunset with mates. There’s no other way to go. Zip on down the mountain and on our last night there’s gonna be a themed party at the hottest bar in town. Everyone’s invited and we’re going Retro for the night! Let’s get glammed up 60′s style. Party time, brotha.
Ring it home and we’re done. Don’t forget the late check-out cuz this is the kind of holiday that increases your heartrate. Can’t wait to do it. I’m bringing the camera!

Look for trip packages that offer both flights and accomodation

Good accomodation that offers to pick up guests
Friendly staff at the lodge is important and the lodge if going with
family or friends has to be at least
4 Bedrooms at least with 3 Full baths
2 Living Rooms so every bodys not tripping over each other
Private hot tub for those first few days aches and pains
Club house pool, spa, and exercise room
Mountain views
Fully-Equipped Kitchen so someone who is nominated cook can cook up a storm every morning
Washer & Dryer

Find all of the good eateries, pubs restuarants, nothing worse than spending the whole holiday in the kitchen.
Take what alcohol you really need, Im on holidays so I can splurge out on a bit of extra cost on drinks, even though the price is up there

If the kids come along, spend a fair bit of time with them, they will be amazed at what is on offer to them
Record everything that is worth recording, lot to see and capture.
Finally leaving, you dont want to be packing up everything on the last day so quickly, so start on the day before so the last night you can get out and enjoy yourself and yes, a definte late check out is recommended
