Jindabyne Traffic Delays Apology

Over the weekend, many snow-going commuters were thrown into chaos with traffic delays of over 2 hours due to inadequate road infrastructure and the NSW police conducting alcohol and drug testing on cars en-route to the NSW snow fields. Read more »

Perisher Mid-Season Pass

In what I believe to be an Aussie first (I could be wrong!) Perisher have announced they’ll be selling a ‘mid-season’ pass starting from August 14th. What the pass gives you is unlimited chair access (hence riding) from now until the season closes. Read more »
Powder Central, Today at Perisher

Perisher have had 30cms of fresh snow fall in the past 48 hours and it’s still snowing lightly this morning! They even had 71 snow guns in action overnight to add some finesse. Skiers and boarders will be in for a powder blast today, so wax those planks and hit the slopes! Read more »
Perisher First to Open their Superpipe

Perisher have just opened their 17 foot superpipe for riding a couple days ago, much to the delight of the local shred heads. They are the first in Australia to open their pipe for the winter 2010 season and it is already being put to some solid use. Read more »
