10cm and Still Falling

30.06.2008
Relief across the mountain ranges today as cooler temperatures finally saw the onset of wintry weather and snow conditions across the resorts.

After one of the slower starts to a winter snow season, today saw 10cm plus fall across most the Aussie resorts and reports coming from on-mountain indicate its still falling.

Experts predict more snow to fall across the Alpines over the coming 48 hours with temperatures well below zero expected leading into the weekend. With some natural falls and a lending hand from snow-making this weekend should see the Victorian resorts open some runs for riders to make their first turns, while New South Wales will too enjoy better conditions.
