APEC meeting 2007/09/04 16:52 Karma: 1
Hate to get political towards the end of the season, but do you reckon these big world leaders are going to do anything to repair our troubled climate at the APEX summit? Seriously our slopes are in the hands of these blokes (and ladies) who probably know nothing about slipping on some skies and carving up a slope. Does anyone recon this El nino and La nina trash is merely political bull shit? I'm starting to get a bit worried about not having snow within a car trip rather than an OS plane trip.

Well we're already jacked as far as our snow goes cos our highest peak is only 2000 odd metres (old school = 7000ft)...but yeah...having the hole in the ozone over our country doesnt help ay?

The fact is unless hell freezes over, we'll nev get as much/better snow than say the Kiwis.

This is something which Im quite passionate about and something which needs to be address now! I personally dont follow much politics nor do i like it, but if there is one thing i do know about it, is that change for them takes time.

We, the people, on the other hand can take action immediately. And there are heaps of ways we can help climate change in little ways. The web has heaps of info such as www.climatecrisis.net (an inconvenient truth). If people make and demand the change, the governement will listen.

Education is the key, not legistlation!

check it out and get on board!
