Diditsnow.com is a new Snow report website, catering to the Australian and New Zealand market at the moment, with an interesting way of getting its updates.
I asked creator, Nathan Hawkins, a few questions on how it works and the reasons the industry needs it.
What’s it about? Why does the snow community need it?
Did it Snow is a unique site that aims to share the best and latest information on the current snow conditions. The unique bit is that in addition to official reports, the snow reports are also provided by other snow lovers, just like you! People can SMS a report to 0401 046 469 or email it to report@diditsnow.com and it will appear on the site immediately (just include the name of the resort somewhere in the message). Cool huh?! After years of being frustrated by the unsustainable fabrication of fibreglass boards and not getting the ride experience, Bob took it upon himself to shake up the industry, and release the Makboard. Read more »

A short time ago Snowlife had the pleasure of catching up with Aussie super talent and Forum boarder Charlie Steinbacher. We found out how he’s been going after his recent stint in rehab following a blown ACL, whats involved in the day to day pressure’s of riding with a commercial brand and the tunes that get him fired up whilst shredding the slopes.
Over the years I have been fortunate enough to speak with a heap of great people doing great things in Aussie snowboarding, one such person is Jeremy Burns. I’ve caught up with Jeremy (or Jez as he is commonly known) on a few occasions over the years Read more »
